No More Corporate-Speak!
NO MORE CORPORATE-SPEAK!
My mission as a copywriter is simple. No more Corporate-Speak on the Web.
You might call it “marketing speak,” “buzzwords,” “technobabble” or just plain “gobbledygook.” (There’s even a Wikipedia entry on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corporate_speak).
It’s language intended to make you or your company sound smart. Skillful. Successful. But it’s been so overused and blown so far out of proportion that it’s meaningless now. Worse, use of Corporate-Speak can HURT your public perception now. It can even damage your search engine ranking!
I don’t like writing Corporate-Speak. Nobody I know likes reading it. So, it’s my pledge that Blue Ferret Communications will only work with companies who don’t want to use Corporate-Speak.
If you want to be seen as an authority on the Web, trust me. Use everyday language to make your points. Let your website speak as frankly as you would in a discussion with an old friend. If you truly want their customers to understand what you provide, make it easy for them to do so.
You can start by Contacting Me for an initial project conversation.
